Every time there is a political or generally villainous figure who is disliked by at least 30% of the population of the US someone decides that it would be hilarious to put this person on toilet paper. I guess the idea is that there is a group of people who would get some kind of pleasure wiping their butts with the face of their enemy.
Since I get to see remaindered products as part of my job, I can guarantee to you that these do not sell in large quantities.
I understand getting this as part of a collection of memorabilia or a misguided family member getting it for someone as a gift, but I wonder if there is anyone out there who dislikes Donald Trump so much that they have decided that from this point forward they are going to exclusively use one of the many styles of Trump toilet paper.
In my experience, people don't buy things with pictures of people they don't like. Things like Trump toilet paper end up being sold by the pallet for pennies on the dollar as closeout shows.
It also gets complicated because some companies sell novelty toilet paper with pictures of things that people supposedly like on them. For example, AK 47 toilet paper. I can't imagine someone who hates guns using it, but if you love guns, why would you want to wipe with bullets?
And, if your significant other put this heart paper on the roll for Valentine's Day what message would he/she be sending to you? In the end, Novelty toilet paper is more complicated that you think.
