Of particular interest, although I love all his entries, is the entry about visiting his sisters in Cleveland. My father's sisters raised him, his mother died when he was very young, and I know he feels that he owes them. But, and his entry explains it better than I could, they are horribly racist. He goes to Cleveland to see them and every time returns with stories that curl my toes.
When I see how tiny their world is, how limited their dreams are and how much hatred they carry around with them all the time, it makes me glad that he's my dad and my mom is my mom.
So, love you mom and dad. I wish I saw you more often.
