Raiders Adaptation

If you missed Raider of the Lost Ark: The Adapation the first time it came to Seattle, you HAVE to see it. It's so damned impressive. I wrote about it here. It's this weekend!

How to buy tickets behind the cut.

A one-of-a-kind piece of cinema history, RAIDERS was an attempt by three
kids to make a shot-for-shot remake of their favorite movie, the blockbuster
first installment of the Indiana Jones trilogy. Shooting the film in
sequence (getting dialogue from repeat matinee viewings of the movie and
cribbing set designs from the comic book adaptations), and using ingenious
no-budget special effects, they finished their movie three years later. Most
remarkably of all, the cast and crew went through puberty during the
shooting - all of which is up on screen. The actors and actresses age and
mature before your very eyes as the film progresses!

Don't miss this unique opportunity to see RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK: THE
ADAPTATION, showing as part of Northwest Film Forum's 10th Anniversary
greatest hits series, Super Hits Vol 10. For a full list of films and for
